What this page does: Fernwork PDF tools let you merge multiple PDFs, split a document into pages, rotate or reorder pages, place a visual signature mark or create a certificate-based cryptographic signature, OCR scanned documents, edit PDF metadata, compress files, and add password protection — all locally in your browser. Files never leave your device.
- Merge PDFs — combine any number of PDF files into one.
- Split PDFs — extract individual pages or page ranges.
- Rotate pages — fix sideways or upside-down pages.
- Reorder pages — drag and drop pages into the right order.
- Edit existing PDF text — click any word, retype, drag to move.
- Fill forms on the page, select and copy text, highlight, underline and strike through.
- Redact content — true rasterised removal so text cannot be recovered.
- Signatures — add a typed, drawn, or uploaded visual mark, or create a local SHA-256 certificate signature from a P12/PFX or RSA PEM credential.
- OCR — turn scanned PDFs into searchable text using Tesseract.
- Compress PDFs — reduce file size for email or upload.
- Edit metadata — change title, author, subject, keywords.
- Password-protect — add or remove encryption.
